Construction has begun on the elevator shaft and is coming along nicely. The elevator is one step towards making the project ADA compliant and supporting the four units reserved as integrated housing for people receiving services from the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The elevator will also make the building easily accessible to the other 20 affordable, market-rate residential units.
