Meet the Team: Derek Jeffers

Derek Jeffers started at Springbrook as assistant director of facilities in 2021, but his ties to Oneonta, NY, go back much further. Derek grew up in the area around Oneonta and remembers biking down Main Street as a child. Given his roots in the area, Derek is excited about being part of a project that will expand opportunities in downtown Oneonta and on Main Street.

Since graduating in 2018 with a degree in architecture and construction management, Derek has moved back to the area and started a family. Day-to-day, Derek coordinates countless aspects of the Ford on Main project and communicates with the contracting team, design team, the City of Oneonta, and other local entities. He hopes this project will attract new faces to Oneonta, diversifying the city and opening the door to new projects, services, and growth.
